Movie Filmed at Cypress Gardens Gets Good Buzz at Sundance

Back in May of 2006 a movie starring John Cusack filmed some scenes at Cypress Gardens. The film, Grace is Gone, debuted at Sundance Film Festival last week. According to this week's Entertainment Weekly, the film drew some of the biggest buzz and bidding among the studios. We'll see if/when it gets a wider release.

It was the first one to get picked up by a distributor at Sundance, too. That's very cool--I want to see it anyway and didn't know that there were scenes filmed at Cypress Gardens! Hopefully the Polk Theatre will be able to show it.
