Where in Polk County?

Posted by Josh Hallett on October 11, 2006 at 11:26 AM

I've decided to start a new recurring item here on Empirical Polk: Where in Polk County. I'll post a photo and see if anybody can guess the location. Some will be easier than others. Here's the first one. Where was this photo taken? Leave a comment below. The winner will receive something...not sure what, but it will be something.

Early Morning Driveway

Update: Dean won. It's the Orleans Estate on Lake Eloise in Winter Haven.

Auburndale? Just a guess.. wherever it is... it's GOREGOUS!

Are you going to tell us the answer? I tried to cheat and was going to guess Huguenot Cemetary, but then learned that that is in St Augustine.

Bob: We have to let the contest run at least a few days. If nobody guesses the location by next week when I post the next photo, I'll reveal the answer.

I drive by it every day!

Orleans on west lake eloise drive by Valhalla...

What do i win?

:)

Dean

Dean, that's right. I'll buy you some coffee at Richard's.
