There is now an option for a genuine cooked breakfast in downtown Winter Haven. Scores Cafe located at 58 4th ST NW is now open for breakfast Monday thru Friday from 7 AM till 10:30 AM. In the past the was only one other option for breakfast items in the downtown area, Richard's Coffee. The majority of other restaurants downtown are only open for lunch and/or dinner.

The menu includes omelettes, traditional eggs, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, french toast and sides such as grits, home fries, bacon, sausage, etc. Prices range from $2.75 for one egg with choice of home fries/grits/bacon/sausage/ham and toast to $4.50 for the Scores Omelette.

Traffic was light this first morning. There were only two other customers when I ate at 8 this morning. But then again, they haven't really started promoting the new breakfast service.
